Your first visit / a field guide
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
There is no right way to be good at slowing down. We will show you around, answer your questions and help you find a comfortable rhythm.
01 / Bring a little. Leave the rest.
Pack clean swimwear, a refillable water bottle and a change of clothes. We provide a towel for the sauna and a fresh towel for your shower. Leave jewellery and valuables at home where possible.
02 / Arrive with time to spare.
Please arrive ten minutes before your session. Your host will check you in, introduce the facilities and explain how the studio works. First visits are never rushed.
03 / Find your own sequence.
Change, shower, settle in. Explore the sauna, cold plunge and recovery lounge at your own pace. Your 60-minute studio visit includes time to rest. You do not need to use every facility or follow a fixed sequence.
04 / Share the quiet.
Sit on a towel in the sauna. Keep voices low and leave phones in your locker. Shower before entering the plunge, use the steps and handrail, and give other guests room. Ask your host before adding water to the sauna stones.
05 / Approach the cold gently.
Speak with your host before your first plunge. Enter slowly, keep your head above water and breathe normally. There is no target to reach or time to prove. Step out whenever you wish, and tell a host if you feel uncomfortable.
06 / The practical comforts.
Towels, lockers, showers and drinking water are included. Bring your own toiletries if you prefer. Contact the studio before booking to discuss access needs and the facilities available to you.
07 / When plans change.
Please request a cancellation or change at least 24 hours before your appointment. Your booking confirmation contains the applicable cancellation terms. If you feel unwell, contact the studio before travelling.
08 / A note on wellbeing.
Heat and cold are not suitable for everyone. This guide is general studio information, not medical advice or a substitute for individual assessment. If you have a health concern, are pregnant, take medication or are unsure whether a session is suitable, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before booking. Tell your host if you feel unwell and stop the activity.
